Recently, spy photos of the new Luxeed R7's interior have been revealed, showing significant changes to its cabin layout. The vehicle is expected to feature a passenger-side entertainment screen paired with the central infotainment display in a cohesive design. The steering wheel has been updated, and the traditional mechanical gear shifter has been removed, with the center console area reconfigured for improved storage. The interior adopts a light color scheme, featuring a tiered dashboard that retains cup holders and a wireless charging pad, along with an open storage compartment underneath. Externally, the new model maintains its fastback SUV silhouette, with minimal changes to the side profile, preserving semi-recessed door handles and black wheel arch cladding. Minor adjustments have been made to the front and rear bumper details. Badging on the rear includes “LUXEED,” “R7,” and “Chery Automobile,” and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor is present. The vehicle measures 4,982 mm in length, 1,981 mm in width, and either 1,634 mm or 1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. In terms of powertrain, the updated Luxeed R7 will be equipped with an electric motor produced by Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd., model number QT67TZ210D01, delivering a maximum output of 227 kW—marking an increase over the current single-motor variant.
