On August 10, Fangchengbao Auto, a brand under BYD, unveiled official images of the Fangchengbao T9. The vehicle is a plug-in hybrid six-seater SUV with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the T9 measures 5,270 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,850/1,880 mm in height, with a curb weight of 2,865/2,965 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 3,495 kg. It has a top speed of 220 km/h. The T9 is powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (1.5T PHEV system), delivering an engine output of 115 kW and a maximum net power of 110 kW. It also employs dual motors—one on each axle—with the front motor rated at 90 kW (peak power: 200 kW) and the rear motor rated at 70 kW (peak power: 200 kW).
