On August 11, Changan Qiyuan announced that cumulative sales of its all-new Q05 have surpassed 100,000 units. In July alone, the model delivered 18,871 units, securing the top spot in compact SUV sales for the fourth consecutive month and becoming the best-selling compact all-electric SUV in the first half of 2026. Positioned as a sub-100,000-yuan all-electric SUV, the new Q05 starts at an official price of RMB 79,900. All trims come standard with CATL battery cells and Jinzhongzhao battery packs, supporting 3C fast charging—enabling a 15-minute rapid recharge. Higher-end variants are equipped with LiDAR and a 4nm automotive-grade intelligent cockpit. Overseas, the new Q05 has already launched in Thailand, where it garnered over 3,000 orders within less than half a month of its debut. It entered the Uzbekistan market in June and is scheduled to begin CKD local production there next year, with plans to expand into Indonesia, Central and South America, and Europe.
