On August 10, the Yijing X9 made its global debut featuring Huawei’s HarmonySpace 6 intelligent cockpit. Positioned as a flagship six-seater family SUV, the vehicle supports Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system. It is equipped with dual 17.2-inch “Butterfly Wing” panoramic displays utilizing soft-light technology and supporting seamless multi-screen interaction. The XiaoYi voice assistant has been upgraded to the MoLA 2.0 architecture, enabling multi-turn continuous conversations and understanding of ambiguous spoken commands. On August 11, Yijing released a video showcasing the X9’s multi-screen interaction capabilities. In addition to the front-row Butterfly Wing dual displays, the vehicle features HUAWEI XHUD, HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel intelligent projection headlights, and HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projector (official interior images confirm a second-row entertainment screen, with the laser projector expected to be an optional feature). Content can be swiped between the main and co-driver screens for shared viewing and actively projected onto the HUAWEI XHUD or HUAWEI XSCENE laser projector. The company claims the X9 supports “three-finger, four-direction, five-screen fluid interaction.” The video concludes by demonstrating how the X9 can use XSCENE to rear-project content onto a trunk-mounted screen for outdoor movie viewing. The HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projector supports one-device-to-five-projection modes—covering solo viewing, dual viewing, floating view, lying-down view, and seated view—and, paired with Huawei’s proprietary foldable lens technology, enables quick setup of an open-air cinema both inside and outside the vehicle.
