Guangdong Huilun Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Huilun Technology") recently completed a financing round worth hundreds of millions of RMB. The proceeds will be used to optimize vertical-domain models, expand applications in automotive production lines and integrated service scenarios, iterate core products, and strengthen its talent team—accelerating the large-scale deployment of humanoid robots and their core components. Huilun Technology is an independent industrial entity established by GAC Group to advance its strategy in the embodied intelligence sector. Officially launched in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, in February 2026, the company is responsible for GAC Group’s humanoid robot R&D and commercialization efforts. Leveraging GAC Group’s extensive expertise in vehicle manufacturing, intelligent driving technologies, and supply chain systems, Huilun has built a comprehensive technology stack covering foundational hardware, whole-machine development, motion control ("cerebellum"), domain-specific AI ("vertical brain"), and scenario-based operations. The company possesses independent R&D capabilities in key components such as axial-flux joint motors, integrated joint modules, high-power drivers, and dexterous hands combining rigidity and flexibility. It has already completed four generations of wheeled-legged humanoid robots. Its fourth-generation product, GoMate Mini, features a variable wheeled-legged structure with three-mode switching capability, offering over 8 hours of continuous operation per charge and the ability to autonomously recover from falls. GoMate Mini can perform tasks such as sorting, material handling, and assembly on automotive production lines, and provide services including reception, guidance, delivery, facility support, and emergency response in campus environments—making it suitable for factories, commercial complexes, and rail transit settings. To date, nearly 50 units of GoMate Mini have been deployed across seven representative projects, with the longest single-project runtime reaching 12 months. Collectively, these robots have logged approximately 63,000 kilometers and executed around 189,000 anomaly-handling tasks, securing orders valued at nearly RMB 100 million. Huilun Technology is now advancing the mass production system for both robotic joint modules and complete units, laying the foundation for a future production capacity targeting tens of thousands of units annually.
