The Xiaomi N90 Max has completed 66 passive safety development tests, 72 component- and system-level tests, 230,000 simulation tests, and 175 real-vehicle crash tests. Its full-frontal crash test speed is 64 km/h—14.3% higher than the industry standard; its 25% offset frontal crash test speed reaches 72 km/h; side-impact testing was conducted at 70 km/h; and rear-end collision tests were performed at 92 km/h. The entire crash validation program spanned 21 months and utilized a total of 59 physical vehicles. The vehicle features a hybrid steel-aluminum cage-type body structure, with high-strength steel and aluminum accounting for 90.4% of the body composition, including 35.24% hot-stamped steel. The door rings are made of ultra-high-strength 2,200 MPa steel, and the roof can withstand a maximum load of nearly 14 metric tons. Standard across all trims are 12 airbags, including a 3,030 mm extra-long full-length side curtain airbag, along with nine crash sensors. The door handles incorporate a triple-redundancy design, and dual emergency release handles are integrated inside the tailgate. Built on Xiaomi’s Kunlun architecture, the N90 Max is positioned as a range-extended SUV. It is equipped with a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery from CALB, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of up to 505 km. The pre-sale price starts at RMB 299,900. The vehicle measures over 5.2 meters in length, nearly 2 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height.
