Beijing Hyundai Ioniq V Opens Pre-sales on August 21, Launches in September

The Beijing Hyundai IONIQ 5 V will open for pre-sales at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 21 and officially launch in September. The model was fully designed under the leadership of Hyundai China’s Design Center and is available in eight exterior colors: Cyber Gold, Dimensional Purple, Gamma Green, Magnetic Gray, Photon White (solid paint), Photon White (matte paint), Flowing Light Silver, and Night Blade Black. Featuring a coupe-style fastback silhouette, the vehicle comes equipped with frameless doors and Dimensional Star Track taillights. Inside, it boasts a 27-inch ultra-slim 4K screen, Nebula Wraparound interior design, Nebula Ambient Lighting, and Cyber Eye HUD. With dimensions of 4,900 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height—and a wheelbase of 2,900 mm—the IONIQ 5 V is built on Hyundai’s E-GMP electric platform. It offers both all-electric and range-extended powertrain options and supports 800V ultra-fast charging. The vehicle integrates technologies from Momenta, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip, CATL, Baidu’s ERNIE Bot large model, and ByteDance’s Volcano Engine.
