Recently, the Zhongtong H12 range-extended electric bus officially entered service on the "Hong Kong-Macao Express" route, marking the first time new-energy buses have been deployed on cross-border direct passenger services between Hong Kong and Macao. Approved by the governments of both the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, the "Hong Kong-Macao Express" is a cross-border coach service that operates across the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, with stops in downtown areas of both cities to provide point-to-point express service. The route runs 62 daily departures and carries an average of approximately 40,000 to 50,000 passengers per month. The newly deployed Zhongtong H12 buses feature a 49+1 seating configuration, with a maximum capacity of 49 passengers. Equipped with a comprehensive intelligent safety monitoring system and active safety warning devices, these buses are designed to meet the demanding operational requirements of long-distance travel, complex driving scenarios, and high safety standards.
