Avatr to Launch Six-Seater SUV by Year-End, First Full Collaboration with Huawei

At the 23rd Sohu Auto Marketing Leadership Summit – Lu’an Forum held on August 14, Yong Jun, Vice President of Avatr Technology, announced that Avatr will launch a large three-row SUV by the end of 2024. This model will be Avatr’s “first truly full-scale collaborative vehicle” with Huawei, integrating Huawei’s technologies in vehicle control, lighting, voice interaction, and intelligent driving. According to previously disclosed information, under the "HI Plus" collaboration model, Avatr plans to introduce range-extended models, mid-to-large five-seater SUVs, and large six-seater SUVs, while also developing a high-speed sports car capable of exceeding 300 km/h and an MPV series. Changan Automobile has stated that Avatr will focus on the price range of RMB 250,000 to RMB 700,000 and will unveil a premium six-seater flagship model priced above RMB 1 million in 2026. Long-term plans indicate that by 2030, Avatr will launch 17 new models covering sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars.
