Xiaomi Auto Unveils Chengdu Auto Show Details and Pengcheng N90 Max Safety Features

On August 15, Xiaomi Auto officially released its "Answers to Netizens' Questions" (Episode 277), revealing details about its participation in the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show and sharing safety design features of the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max. The 2026 Chengdu Auto Show will take place from August 21 to 30 at the Western China International Expo City. Xiaomi Auto’s exhibition booth is located at Hall 10, Booth H1004, where it will showcase the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max and N70 Max. Limited-edition folding fans will be offered as gifts to attendees. The Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max features an integrated hot-stamped door ring structure measuring 3,289 mm in length and 1,556 mm in height, spanning across the A, B, C, and D pillars to enhance protection for the roof and side areas of the passenger compartment. Compared with conventional designs, this structure improves the vehicle body’s lateral load-bearing capacity by 19% and reduces the risk of weld point failure. In terms of safety redundancy, the vehicle’s door handles incorporate a triple-mechanism design: the semi-recessed exterior door handle includes a mechanical opening function; the door lock system is equipped with a redundant backup power supply, enabling unlocking even if the main power fails; and inside the cabin, a purely mechanical door handle—operable without electronic control—is provided to ensure doors can be opened during power outages, guaranteeing reliable egress and rescue capabilities in extreme collision scenarios.
