Recently, the new Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Cabriolet has been spotted undergoing testing at the Nürburgring. The front fascia remains partially camouflaged, but reveals an all-new star-pattern headlight design; the grille and front bumper are also expected to be revised. The front fender vents aren't clearly visible in the spy shots, and their retention awaits official confirmation. At the rear, the car features redesigned star-pattern taillights and retains the quad-exit exhaust layout. However, the number of fins on the rear diffuser has been reduced from four to two. Interior details remain scarce for now, though the overall layout is expected to stay largely unchanged, with a possible upgrade to the steering wheel and the addition of physical buttons. Under the hood, the current CLE 53 is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine producing 443 hp and 559 N·m of torque. The updated model is expected to feature an enhanced version of this engine, potentially boosting peak torque to 600 N·m and enabling a temporary overboost function that raises it further to 639 N·m.
