BYD Sealion 08 Interior Spotted, Priced at ¥230,000–280,000

On August 15, blogger @Xiangbei_BuduanDian shared interior photos of the BYD Sealion 08. The vehicle had previously opened for blind pre-orders, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 230,000 to 280,000. As BYD Ocean Network’s flagship SUV, the Sealion 08 made its global debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year and features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, flash charging technology, Cloud Ride-A intelligent air suspension system, rear-wheel steering, and the "God’s Eye" ADAS 5.0 system. According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Sealion 08 measures 5,115 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. The model will be offered in both all-electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The all-electric versions include a single-motor low-power variant (320 kW), a single-motor high-power variant (370 kW), and a dual-motor variant (215 kW front motor / 370 kW rear motor). The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5T engine (maximum output: 115 kW) and front/rear electric motors (each with a peak output of 200 kW). As previously revealed by the “Di Fen Zhi Jia” WeChat official account, the all-electric Sealion 08 will offer two range options—800 km and 900 km—and will be available in both five-seat and six-seat configurations. The vehicle is scheduled to launch in August.
