On August 17, RoboScience officially launched its first product—the wheeled humanoid general-purpose manipulation robot REX G1. The robot is powered by Visics, a self-developed general embodied large model based on the VLOA architecture. It features 22 degrees of freedom across its entire body (including 2 in the head and neck, 7×2 in the arms, 2 in the waist, 1 for vertical lifting, and 3 in the base), with a dual-arm payload capacity of 10 kg and a repeatable positioning accuracy of ±0.1 mm. The REX G1 has an overall width of 540 mm, with its length adjustable between 540–640 mm and height ranging from 1100–1700 mm. It can navigate through narrow passages as tight as 0.75 meters and operate within a working height range of 0.1–2.0 meters. Equipped with a full-stack perception system and 360° stereoscopic vision, it supports adaptive illumination in low-light environments and delivers 2070 TFLOPS of on-device computing power. The robot supports simultaneous walking, lifting, and grasping operations. It offers up to 4 hours of battery life and features hot-swappable batteries, enabling it to resume tasks in as little as 5 seconds after a battery replacement. Its exterior design incorporates smooth, rounded transitions without sharp edges and includes quick-release access panels for maintenance. Designed for unstructured, highly dynamic environments—including logistics, factories, retail, and households—the REX G1 aims to deliver a complete closed-loop capability from task comprehension to execution.
