ByteDance and the Motion Picture Association (MPA) today signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening copyright protection for AI-powered video and image generation models. Under the agreement, ByteDance’s Seedance video generation model and Seedream image generation model will be integrated into a more robust intellectual property protection framework. These models are made available to users through applications such as TikTok, CapCut, and Dreamina. ByteDance stated that the latest versions of Seedance and Seedream now include enhanced intellectual property safeguards. Both parties pledged to continuously improve copyright protection measures as AI technology evolves.
