On August 17, Geely Automobile Holdings Limited announced a management reshuffle: effective August 18, 2026, Li Shufu will step down as Chairman of the Board and Executive Director, assuming the title of Lifetime Honorary Chairman while continuing to serve as Chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group; An Conghui will become Chairman of the Board; Li Donghui will resign as Deputy Chairman but remain an Executive Director; Gui Shengyue will step down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and take up the role of Deputy Chairman while continuing as an Executive Director; and Gan Jiayue will be appointed CEO. On the same day, Xiaomi announced that cumulative deliveries of its first mass-produced all-electric sports sedan series, the SU7, have surpassed 500,000 units—reaching this milestone in just 28.5 months since deliveries began on March 28, 2024. On February 27, 2025, the high-performance flagship SU7 Ultra joined the product lineup, followed by the launch of the next-generation Xiaomi SU7 on March 19, 2025, with a starting price of RMB 219,900. Additionally, Hua Jing Auto also announced on the same day that deliveries of its debut model, the Hua Jing S, have exceeded 20,000 units, including 7,203 units delivered in July, ranking fourth among large SUVs. Launched in May 2024, the Hua Jing S is a six-seater plug-in hybrid SUV for family use, offered in four configurations with a limited-time trade-in price range of RMB 149,800 to RMB 193,800.
