New Deepal G318 Debuts with Full HarmonyOS Suite

The new Deepal G318 made its debut recently, featuring Huawei's full Harmony ecosystem suite, including the HarmonySpace 5 intelligent cockpit and Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro advanced driver-assistance system. The vehicle is scheduled to officially launch in the near future. In terms of exterior design, the new model largely retains the overall styling of the current version, featuring a robust front bumper and “C”-shaped LED daytime running lights integrated into the outer edges of the headlight clusters. It measures 5,125 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,895 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. The side profile is boxy and rugged, while the rear continues to feature a full-size externally mounted spare tire. It rides on 18-inch low-drag wheels wrapped in 255/65 R18 tires. Inside, the cabin is equipped with the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, highlighted by a 14.6-inch central touchscreen. The gear shifter has been redesigned, and the front cup holders have been reconfigured to add dedicated smartphone storage space. Under the hood, the new G318 is expected to carry over the existing 1.5T range-extended plug-in hybrid powertrain. The engine delivers a maximum output of 110 kW, while the front electric motor produces 131 kW and the rear motor 185 kW. It is paired with a 35.07 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 186 km.
