Wuling Xingguang L PHEV SUV Hits 10,000 Sales in First Month

On August 18, Wuling Motors announced that its six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, the Xingguang L, has surpassed 10,000 units in cumulative sales within one month of its launch, ranking second in China’s mid-to-large SUV sales chart for July. The model was launched on July 16 with three variants, offered at a limited-time price range of RMB 109,800 to RMB 132,800. All trims come standard with a 37.9 kWh battery, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 260 km and a combined range of 1,260 km. The vehicle supports 3C DC fast charging and vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply. Standard features across the lineup include an AGS active grille shutter, power tailgate, concealed rear wiper, smartphone connectivity via CarPlay, HiCar, and Carlink, 50W wireless phone charging for the driver, and 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The base model adds electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, 20-inch tires, dual front airbags, front side curtain airbags, rear parking sensors, rearview camera, a 12.8-inch 2K central touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system. The mid-tier variant further includes acoustic laminated glass for the windshield and all four doors, roof rails, side curtain airbags, front parking sensors, a larger 15.6-inch 2K central touchscreen, 540-degree panoramic view monitor, a 12-speaker audio system, and the Lingmou intelligent driving assistance system. The top trim upgrades further with a segmented panoramic sunroof featuring a sunshade, a “boss button” for the front passenger seat, second-row foldable tables, multi-color ambient lighting, independent rear climate control, power-adjustable front passenger and second-row seats, ventilated front seats with suction-type airflow, a premium 21-speaker audio system, 20-inch Michelin tires, and advanced safety features including door-open warning, blind-spot assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.
