BYD's Fangcheng Bao brand announced that its new coupe models, the Fangcheng S and Fangcheng S GT, will make their global debut—showcasing both interior and exterior designs—at the 2026 Chengdu International Auto Show. These two models belong to the Fangcheng S sedan series, which was first unveiled at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and includes three variants: the Fangcheng S, the Fangcheng SL three-box sedan, and the Fangcheng S GT shooting brake. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 408th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," the Fangcheng S measures 5,060 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and either 1,483 mm or 1,458 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm. It has a curb weight of 2,140 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 2,580 kg, and a top speed of 240 km/h. Powertrain options include a single-motor version with peak outputs of either 245 kW or 300 kW, as well as a dual-motor variant delivering 190 kW and 300 kW, all paired with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The Fangcheng S GT measures either 5,025 mm or 5,095 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and either 1,483 mm or 1,458 mm in height, with the same 2,960 mm wheelbase. It has a curb weight of 2,170 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 2,595 kg, and a top speed of 240 km/h. It is offered with either a 300 kW single motor or a dual-motor setup rated at 190 kW and 300 kW, also equipped with LFP batteries. The Fangcheng S series is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026.
