Xiaomi’s Lu Weibing Says Pengcheng Model Pre-orders Exceed Expectations, Deliveries to Begin at September Launch

At the earnings call on August 18, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, stated that pre-orders for Xiaomi Pengcheng's two new models, the N70 and N90, have exceeded expectations since their launch. He added that after the vehicles arrived at showrooms, a large number of customers have come to view them in person, and once preparations are fully completed, Xiaomi will promptly arrange test drives for users. Lu also revealed that the Xiaomi Pengcheng vehicles will officially launch in September and begin deliveries immediately upon launch, with sufficient production capacity in place to ensure rapid delivery. Previously, at the Xiaomi Pengcheng technology launch event on the evening of July 30, the company unveiled two new variants—the flagship seven-seater extended-range SUV N90 Max and the five-seater all-wheel-drive extended-range SUV N70 Max—and announced their pre-sale prices simultaneously.
