During the earnings call, Xiaomi Group CFO Lin Shiwei announced that Xiaomi's MiMo is set to launch its first personal desktop application, designed to enable users to seamlessly handle both work and daily life tasks in one place. Training for the next-generation MiMo model is currently underway and is expected to be released soon. On the commercialization front, MiMo’s large model TokenPlan has already started generating revenue, with rapid growth observed. However, Xiaomi’s AI business remains in a phase of significant investment, with the current focus on leveraging AI technology to reshape its integrated "human-vehicle-home" ecosystem rather than prioritizing monetization. Lin also revealed that in July 2024, Xiaomi’s MiMo V2.5 model ranked first globally in both monthly and weekly API call volumes on OpenRouter, a leading platform for large model usage. Previously, on June 11, 2024, Xiaomi open-sourced and launched MiMoCode V0.1.0—an on-device AI coding assistant powered by the time-limited free multimodal model MiMo-V2.5. It also supports integration with mainstream models such as DeepSeek, Kimi, and GLM, as well as third-party TokenPlans.
