BMW Recalls ~28,000 Vehicles in U.S., Affecting Multiple 5 Series, 7 Series, and 8 Series Models

On August 18, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) posted a recall notice online stating that BMW of North America, LLC is recalling 27,720 vehicles in the United States. The recall affects certain 2022–2026 model year 840i and 840i xDrive vehicles, 2021–2023 model year 540i, 540i xDrive, and M550i xDrive vehicles, and 2024–2026 model year 750e xDrive vehicles.
