The 2026 Hongqi HS3 PHEV officially launched on August 19, offering two variants: the 125km Jinwei Edition priced at RMB 159,800 and the 125km Jinwei PLUS Edition priced at RMB 161,800. Buyers can enjoy a RMB 26,000 subsidy for orders placed via the official app, a RMB 4,000 insurance subsidy, and a trade-in incentive starting from RMB 5,000. The vehicle delivers an all-electric range of 125 km and a combined range of 1,435 km. It measures 4,655 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,668 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm—identical to the previous generation. Power comes from a 1.5L turbocharged direct-injection inline-four engine paired with an electric motor producing a peak output of 168 kW, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 7.6 seconds. It is equipped with an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and features a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, maintaining identical powertrain and range specifications as its predecessor. In terms of equipment, the 2026 model removes cornering assist lighting and hands-free power tailgate functionality. Wireless phone charging is now limited to a single 40W pad (the secondary 15W pad has been eliminated). The infotainment system has been upgraded to FAW OS, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P chip, supporting features like car wash mode and customizable scene modes. Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Carlink will be added via future OTA updates. Standard features include hill descent control, while a rearview camera is newly available as an option.
