Harmony Intelligent Driving's Zhijie RX Coupe SUV Features Smart Embrace Seats with 98 Pressure Sensors and 27 Airbags

On August 19, Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s AITO brand officially announced that its new model, the AITO RX coupe SUV, will feature intelligent wrap-around seats equipped with 98 pressure sensors and 27 air bladders, enabling millisecond-level precise sensing and active adaptation. Among these are 86 pressure pad sensors and 12 bladder pressure sensors that capture real-time pressure data from the back and hips with a sensing accuracy of up to 2 grams. The air bladders cover the shoulders, lumbar region, and hips to accommodate users of varying body types. The seat incorporates a predictive model that optimizes adjustment strategies based on user habits. It features an independent dual-pump system comprising a high-flow 12L inflation pump and a 7L suction pump capable of achieving sub-atmospheric pressure during deflation. The active side bolsters can inflate fully within one second and maintain consistent responsiveness even during consecutive cornering maneuvers. These bolsters utilize a three-layer air bladder structure, including 11 adaptive air bladders and 16 massage air bladders. Internal seat components have been reduced in volume by 40%, while functional integration is three times higher than comparable models. The seat frame extensively uses aerospace-grade magnesium-aluminum alloy, reducing weight by approximately 8 kg compared to conventional all-steel frames—specifically, the backrest is 18.99% lighter and the leg rest 13.49% lighter. Positioned as a mid-to-large premium electric coupe SUV, the AITO RX is built on Huawei’s Tuling platform and will be offered in both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. It measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The vehicle debuts Huawei’s next-generation high-performance electric drive system and will open for pre-orders on August 20, making its official debut at Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s new product launch event on the same day.
