The Buick Zhi Jing L7 EV officially launched on August 19, with a starting promotional price of RMB 169,900. It is available in three variants: the 702 Luxe at RMB 169,900, the 702 Luxe Smart Drive at RMB 189,900, and the 702 Avenir at RMB 199,900. All variants of the Zhi Jing L7 EV come standard with an 800V high-voltage architecture, 6C ultra-fast charging technology, and CATL batteries, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 702 km. The vehicle measures 5,032 mm long, 1,952 mm wide, and 1,499 (or 1,507) mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. At launch, it offers two exclusive limited-edition exterior colors—Stellar Green and Sakura Pink—available free of charge for a limited time, along with two optional exclusive interior color schemes—Emerald Mist and Danxia Night Patrol—also offered free for a limited period. Built on an 800V platform, the Zhi Jing L7 EV supports temperature-controlled ultra-fast charging at up to 55°C, adding 450 km of range in just 10 minutes. It achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 5-second range and features Ultium battery technology, which Buick claims has logged 5.6 billion kilometers without a single thermal runaway incident. In terms of intelligent cabin features, the vehicle is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 chip, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 50-inch panoramic AR-HUD.
