On August 20, smart China announced that the smart #3 Pulse Performance Edition will be showcased at Booth H1508 in Hall 15 of the Chengdu International Auto Show from August 21 to August 30. This model features a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a drag coefficient of 0.27 Cd, an instant two-wheel/four-wheel drive switching function taking just 0.4 seconds, and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.3 seconds. The current smart #3 starts at RMB 164,900 and measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,844 mm in width, and 1,556 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,785 mm. Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, heated electric side mirrors, LED headlights, integrated headrest sport seats, single-zone automatic climate control (with rear air vents), adaptive cruise control (ACC), a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply, a power tailgate, heated front seats, and a built-in dashcam.
