On August 20, Yijing Auto announced that its first mass-produced model, the Yijing X9, received 21,235 pre-orders within 24 hours of launching pre-sales. The vehicle is a large six-seater extended-range SUV co-developed by Dongfeng Motor and Huawei, measuring 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm. Its exterior features a closed-off front fascia, a 1.83-meter full-width light strip, and a贯穿-style rear light bar embedded with 1,172 ISD LEDs, supporting customizable lighting animations. Multiple exterior color options are available, and 21-inch wheels come standard. All trims come standard with four power-operated doors featuring wave-to-open and soft-close functionality, as well as rear-wheel steering with ±7° of movement, enabling a minimum turning radius of 5.3 meters. Inside, the cabin is equipped with Huawei’s HarmonySpace 6 intelligent cockpit system, featuring an AMS in-cabin sensing system, a 21-speaker HUAWEI SOUND audio setup, an external laser projection cinema, and a dual-zone refrigerator offering both cooling and heating functions. For intelligent driving assistance, the X9 integrates Huawei’s 896Ian LiDAR, Qiankun ADS 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, and the Qiankun CAS 5.0 comprehensive collision-avoidance system. The chassis employs a fully aluminum double-wishbone front suspension and five-link rear suspension, paired with a dual-chamber air suspension offering 90 mm of travel and EDC variable-damping shock absorbers. Built on Huawei’s Qiankun Chitu platform, it supports features such as road preview, motion sickness mitigation, and blowout stability control. Powering the vehicle is an 800V high-voltage architecture with a 74.29 kWh CATL battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 465 kilometers.
