On August 20, XPeng Motors announced the launch of the XPeng X9 "Black Warrior" edition, featuring an Abyss Black exterior color, a Starship rear spoiler, and Starblade sport wheels. This special edition is based on the 2026 XPeng X9 all-electric MPV, which debuted in March 2024 with a starting price of RMB 309,800. The 2026 XPeng X9 BEV offers six exterior color options: Aurora Green, Nebula Purple, Nebula White, Starship Grey (matte), Midnight Black, and Crescent Silver. It measures 5,316 mm long, 1,988 mm wide, and 1,785 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. Powered by a 235 kW electric motor, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. The vehicle delivers a CLTC-rated range of up to 750 km and has a combined energy consumption of 15.9 kWh per 100 km. All variants come standard with 5C ultra-fast charging technology. Standard features include three rows of electric “tri-fold” seats supporting 4/5/6/7-seat configurations, zero-gravity seats equipped with airbags that recline fully flat at 180°, and a 180 mm-wide central aisle. Every model also comes standard with active rear-wheel steering (achieving a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters), intelligent dual-chamber air suspension, and a run-flat stability system. In terms of intelligence, all trims are equipped with the Turing chip, delivering up to 2,250 TOPS of effective computing power, and feature an AEB system capable of activation at speeds up to 130 km/h.
