ZhiJie RX Opens for Pre-Orders with L3 Autonomous Driving Architecture

On August 20, the Zhijie RX—a mid-to-large-sized all-electric coupe SUV—opened for reservations. Built on Huawei’s Tuling platform, the vehicle is available in both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. It measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The Zhijie RX debuts Huawei’s next-generation high-performance electric drive system, branded as "Zhiqing," and features a future-ready L3-level autonomous driving architecture. Guo Rui, Chairman and CEO of Zhijie Auto, stated that the L3 architecture not only includes four LiDAR units but also holds additional “surprises” to be revealed later. He emphasized that the L3 system offers higher safety than L2 when the vehicle is under human control, adding that driving enjoyment must be grounded in safety. Additionally, the Zhijie RX boasts a wheel-to-height ratio of 1:2 and a width-to-height ratio of 1.26, and it uses staggered-width tires—255 mm at the front and 275 mm at the rear.
