FAW-Volkswagen’s ID. AURA T6, a midsize all-electric SUV, will open for pre-orders on August 28. The vehicle measures 4,811 mm in length, 1,879 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,836 mm. It features the jointly developed CEA (Centralized Electronic Architecture) by Volkswagen and XPeng, enabling full-vehicle OTA updates, Sentry Mode, remote vehicle control, and smart entry. Powered by CATL batteries, the ID. AURA T6 is equipped with a 192-line LiDAR and an advanced intelligent driving system delivering 420 TOPS of computing power. All trims come standard with a 4nm intelligent cockpit chip. The cabin includes a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, a 25.8-inch AR-HUD, and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. The audio system comprises an 18-speaker Dolby Atmos setup (activated via OTA post-launch), an external amplifier with a peak output of 920W, and support for 7.1.4-channel immersive sound. The infotainment ecosystem supports 23 mainstream apps across eight categories, covering entertainment, travel, lifestyle, and more. Seamless smartphone integration is achieved through compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and CarLink, supporting virtually all major smartphone brands.
