On August 21, Gotion High-Tech stated that the company is actively preparing for mass supply of battery packs for the Aito M6 EV model and continues to deepen its collaboration with Harmony Intelligent Mobility, proactively engaging with other vehicle models under its portfolio. Earlier reports indicated that the Aito brand would onboard China Aviation Lithium Battery (CALB) and Gotion High-Tech as battery suppliers, with the Aito M6 already designated to use Gotion’s 81 kWh battery pack. According to informed sources, Gotion High-Tech received a nomination letter from Harmony Intelligent Mobility last year. Huawei’s "Giant Whale" battery platform serves as Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s battery safety technical standard system, and battery manufacturers must pass this platform’s certification to enter its supply chain.
