On August 20, Yueda Kia announced that Cai Xukun has been appointed as the "Kia Brand Ambassador"—marking his first-ever automotive brand endorsement. As the first model under his ambassadorship, the all-new Kia Seltos will launch in the Chinese market on August 26. Pre-sales for the vehicle began on August 13, offering six trim levels: 1.5L Comfort, 1.5L Luxury, 1.5L Premium, 1.5T Luxury, 1.5T Premium X-Line, and 1.5T Premium Luxe X-Line, with limited-time pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 80,900 to RMB 120,900. The new Seltos measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,640 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. Its exterior design adopts Kia’s latest design language, aligning closely with the styling of the all-electric SUV EV5. Powertrain options include a 1.5L engine paired with an IVT transmission and a 1.5T turbocharged engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Built on Kia’s third-generation global i-GMP platform, the vehicle comes standard across all trims with a 27-inch ultra-slim widescreen display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, supporting HiCar, CarPlay, and Carlink smartphone integration. The trunk offers 483 liters of cargo space, equipped with 20 storage slots and four hooks, with an interior length of 929 mm and width of 1,060 mm. When the second-row seats are fully folded flat, cargo capacity expands to 1,454 liters.
