On August 21, 2026, Dongfeng Aeolus launched the all-electric L8Y SUV at the Chengdu Auto Show, introducing three variants with special launch prices: the 535KM Leading Edition at RMB 91,900, the 535KM Excellence Edition at RMB 100,900, and the 535KM Flagship Edition at RMB 110,900. Positioned as a compact all-electric SUV, the L8Y measures 4,688 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,617 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. It offers a trunk capacity of 413 liters, expandable to 1,502 liters. The vehicle is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 automotive-grade chip and features a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen supporting HUAWEI HiCar, Carlink, and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with a 50-inch AR-HUD that provides lane-level augmented reality navigation. Front seats come standard with ventilation, heating, massage, and memory welcome functions, and both driver and front passenger seats are equipped with triple air-chamber four-way lumbar support.
