Jeep unveiled the 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain Edition—a special variant of the Twelve 4 Twelve series—at the Smoky Mountain Invasion event held in Tennessee, USA, on August 20, 2024. Based on the four-door Wrangler, this edition features a blacked-out exterior design, including a gloss-black grille, dark "Smoky Mountain" hood decal, 17-inch black wheels, 33-inch tires, steel rock rails, and a body-color hardtop with matching fender flares. Inside, the vehicle is equipped with Black Ferndale seats featuring Black Soulmate bolsters. The seat centers showcase a diamond-plate steel texture, while the seatbacks are adorned with a 1941 Willys parachute motif. Additional interior highlights include terracotta contrast stitching, metallic bright-orange trim accents, an Addax-tech textured dashboard, and anodized carbon-fiber bezels. The shift knob badge displays a mother bear with her cub, and the rear swing-gate door features an exclusive plaque depicting the 1941 Willys parachuting into the Smoky Mountains at night. Powertrain options include either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque, or a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. The special edition is now available for order, with a starting price $80 higher than that of the well-equipped Wrangler Willys model. The 2026 four-door Wrangler Willys starts at $44,940, and with added options, its price reaches approximately $51,000.
