On August 21, Changan Mazda launched the pre-sale of the new EZ-60 Laser Edition. Customers can secure a reservation with a deposit of just RMB 10, which will "inflate" by RMB 100 per day—up to a maximum of RMB 3,600—to be directly deducted from the final vehicle price upon official launch. The exact pricing has not yet been announced. The Laser Edition is equipped with one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic sensors, and eleven high-definition cameras. It supports over 200 advanced driver-assistance scenarios and offers 360° comprehensive active warning, lane correction, and braking capabilities. Its intelligent driving system enables navigation-assisted driving in both highway and urban environments: on highways, it features efficient lane changes, intelligent offset steering, speed limit assistance, ramp entry/exit, service area access, and safe parking; in city settings, it handles intersections, roundabouts, U-turns, main-to-side road transitions, obstacle circumnavigation, and temporary lane borrowing for obstacle avoidance. Advanced parking assistance functions include door-close parking, customizable parking, curb-side alignment, memory parking, path-tracing reverse, and remote-controlled parking maneuvers. Currently on sale is the EZ-60 Year of the Horse Special Edition, launched in April 2024, available in both extended-range and all-electric variants starting at RMB 139,900. This version features a closed-off front fascia, illuminated logo, flush door handles, and optional electronic side mirrors. Inside, it boasts a single 26.45-inch 5K integrated display preloaded with 12 apps including KuGou Music and Baidu Maps. Its Level 2 ADAS system includes five HD cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors, claiming precise perception of six core object types and the surrounding environment, along with an upgraded customizable parking assist feature. The vehicle measures 4,850 mm long, 1,935 mm wide, and 1,620 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,902 mm. The all-electric variant is powered by a single motor delivering a peak output of 190 kW and offers a CLTC-rated range of 600 km. The extended-range model pairs a 72-kW 1.5-liter range extender with a 190-kW drive motor, achieving a CLTC pure-electric range of 200 km.
