Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting August 24, 2026, the company will recall certain Zeekr 007 and Zeekr X vehicles produced between March 1, 2023, and May 21, 2026, totaling 92,658 units. The affected vehicles are being recalled because the interior emergency mechanical door release handle closely matches the color of the cabin trim, making it difficult to identify and operate. In extreme scenarios—such as severe collisions that cause a complete failure of the vehicle’s low-voltage system—this issue could hinder occupants from quickly opening the doors to escape and impede external rescue efforts. Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co., Ltd. will authorize Zhejiang Zeekr Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. to affix warning labels to the affected vehicles free of charge and upgrade the window control software via over-the-air (OTA) updates to implement an automatic window-lowering strategy following a collision.
