On August 21, undisguised photos of a group of Polestar 4 SUVs en route to South Korea were leaked. The model is scheduled for its official global debut on September 2. Compared to the existing Polestar 4 coupe, which features a rear window deletion design, the SUV version adds a rear window and adopts a more conventional roofline along with a squarer tailgate. The new SUV is expected to retain the coupe’s full-width LED taillights, rear bumper, flush door handles, and the front body design that extends from the hood to the B-pillar. The Polestar 4 SUV shares Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform with the coupe but will feature retuned chassis components. In terms of powertrain, the entry-level variant offers rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a maximum output of 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS), while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) version delivers up to 536 hp (400 kW / 544 PS). The vehicle is equipped with a 94 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 630 km (392 miles)—10 km (6 miles) more than the coupe version.
