On August 24, Lynk & Co announced that the Lynk & Co 07 GT rally car will compete in the 2026 Huairou China Rally Championship from August 28 to 30. Developed jointly by Lynk & Co and Team X-Star, the rally car is based on a hybrid platform and features reinforced bodywork, chassis, and electronic control systems. It is equipped with a race-spec chassis and has successfully completed the industry’s first moose test under special conditions at the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC). The test results showed speeds of 82.1 km/h with roof-mounted cargo and 81.9 km/h while towing a trailer. The Lynk & Co 07 GT rally car features a distinctive paint scheme combining Pamir Blue, Flare Gold, and Liquid Metal finishes. Ten diagonal stripes adorn the hood, fenders, and rear bumper, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Lynk & Co brand. The hood includes functional air intakes to enhance engine airflow and cooling during high-speed operation. Inside, the cabin adopts a two-seat layout, with the passenger area converted into a co-driver’s workstation for stable pace-note communication. The vehicle rides on wide, rugged rally tires designed to maximize grip on gravel surfaces and utilize centrifugal force to dislodge stones embedded in the tread. Earlier this year, during the April season opener of the 2026 CTCC China Touring Car Championship, the Lynk & Co 03+ TCR made its debut on a national-level circuit. Drivers Zhang Zhiqiang and Zhu Da Wei of the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing team secured first and third places, respectively, in Race 1, while the 03+ TCR also claimed the Model Cup title.
