Leapmotor Targets 200,000 Overseas Sales in 2024, Aims for 400,000 by 2027

At its 2026 interim results conference, Leapmotor’s management stated that the company expects its overseas sales in 2024 to reach approximately 200,000 units, with a target of 350,000 to 400,000 units for 2027—aiming to challenge the upper end of that range at 400,000 units. As of July 2024, Leapmotor’s global deliveries totaled 101,267 units, surging 102% year-over-year and marking the first time monthly deliveries exceeded 100,000 units. To date, Leapmotor has expanded into more than 40 markets worldwide, operating over 2,000 retail outlets globally. The company’s financial report for the first half of fiscal year 2026 (January–June 2026) showed total revenue of RMB 38.107 billion, up 57.2% year-over-year; gross profit of RMB 4.445 billion, an increase of 29.7%; a gross margin of 11.7%; net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 2.08 billion, soaring 530.97% year-over-year; operating cash flow of RMB 2.17 billion, down 24.06% year-over-year; free cash flow of RMB 140 million, down 83.72% year-over-year; and both basic and diluted earnings per share of RMB 0.15, up 650% year-over-year.
