On August 24, Feng Xingya, Chairman of GAC Group, led a delegation to Shenzhen to meet Ren Zhengfei, founder of Huawei. The two parties exchanged views on the next phase of development for the Qijing brand and broader collaboration between GAC and Huawei. Feng stated that the Qijing GT7 commenced deliveries in late June 2025, and the Qijing GX7 is scheduled to launch in September 2025. Positioned as a spacious five-seater intelligent and versatile SUV, the GX7 made its public debut at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show. It features a pre-installed L3-level advanced architecture with a full-chain L3 redundancy design incorporating eight redundant systems. The vehicle is equipped with an immersive intelligent cabin featuring ten screens in total. The front row includes Huawei’s dual 15.6-inch smart automotive displays supporting HDR image enhancement technology, along with Huawei’s next-generation XHUD augmented reality head-up display offering an expansive 88-inch projection area.
