GAC Lingcheng and Neolix Unveil First Jointly Developed Autonomous Vehicle X6

On August 25, the first jointly developed autonomous vehicle, the X6, by GAC Lecheng and Neolix rolled off the production line at the Conghua plant in Guangzhou. This model is the first product co-developed by the two companies following their strategic cooperation agreement signed in March this year. Designed for urban last-mile delivery and regional logistics scenarios, the X6 offers a cargo capacity of 6 cubic meters and is suitable for diverse delivery applications including e-commerce, fresh produce, supermarkets, and pharmaceuticals. GAC Lecheng New Energy Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. was established in 2007 and is majority-owned by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (89.72%), with Hino Motors, Ltd. holding 4.83% and Guangzhou Hydrogen Cloud New Energy Technology Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) holding 5.45%. The company is operated under the leadership of GAC Group. The two partners plan to subsequently launch larger autonomous vehicles with cargo capacities of 12 and 20 cubic meters.
