Wuhan Breaks Ground on Western Zone of Inter-City Intelligent Connected & EV Industrial Park

On August 25, the western zone of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone’s Intelligent Connected and Electric Vehicle Industrial Park was inaugurated and commenced construction in Hanchuan, Xiaogan. The first batch of enterprises is expected to move in by June next year. The main campus of the industrial park, located in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, focuses on innovative R&D; the northern zone, situated in Caidian District of Wuhan, primarily handles supporting manufacturing; and the western zone in Hanchuan, Xiaogan, will concentrate on core sectors such as intelligent cockpit functional materials, automotive interior and exterior components, and electrical system parts.
