Mitsubishi to Launch Two New Models in U.S. by 2027, Including Nissan-Co-Developed Pickup

Mitsubishi unveiled its "Momentum 2030" strategy at a U.S. dealer meeting, announcing plans to launch two new vehicles in the United States by 2027, including a pickup truck co-developed with Nissan. The pickup, which has not yet been officially named, was previewed in teaser images showing a boxy body design, split LED headlights, and a double-cab configuration, with an overall silhouette resembling the Nissan Frontier. The vehicle is expected to feature a body-on-frame ladder chassis and will be offered in both hybrid and conventional fuel-powered variants. Mitsubishi stated that the "Momentum 2030" strategy aims to increase its market share in the U.S. and drive growth in rugged, off-road-oriented segments.
