The all-new Cadillac XT5 PHEV will launch on September 7, 2024. The vehicle made its debut at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show, with dimensions of 4,888 mm in length, 1,957 mm in width, and 1,688 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,863 mm. It retains the design language of the current gasoline-powered model, featuring a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and conventional door handles. Powering the XT5 PHEV is Ultium’s 5C ternary lithium battery paired with a dual-motor, all-terrain plug-in hybrid system. It combines a 1.5T engine (maximum output: 115 kW) with front and rear electric motors (peak outputs of 160 kW and 110 kW, respectively), mounted on an all-terrain Electric Hummingbird chassis. The battery pack has a capacity of 35.5 kWh, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 215 km, a combined fuel consumption of 6.05 L/100 km, and a total CLTC-rated driving range of 1,360 km. Notably, this model is the first mass-produced luxury plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with Momenta’s R7 World Model.
