Times EV and Kun Development Sign Deal to Build 100 Choco Swap Stations

On August 26, Ample Energy Service Technology Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement on battery swapping with Kunming Development New Energy Company in Yunnan Province. The two parties plan to jointly build 100 "Choco Swap" battery swap stations. Kunming Development New Energy will be responsible for asset investment, providing site resources, infrastructure investment, and government-enterprise coordination support, while Ample Energy Service will supply the standardized battery-swapping system, operational solutions, and digital platforms. The project will be implemented in phases: - **Phase One** will focus on deploying the battery swap station network and fostering synergy between stations and vehicles, using station construction to drive adoption of battery-swappable vehicle models. - **Phase Two** will expand into battery asset management, distributed photovoltaics, and urban energy storage businesses. Both parties will unify brand identity, battery specifications, pricing structures, marketing strategies, and service standards to achieve city-wide standardized deployment of the battery swap network in Kunming.
