FF Unveils EAI Robotics Acceleration Plan: Factory Operational by End of 2026, $5B+ Investment Over Next Decade

On August 26 local time, Faraday Future (FF) hosted the EAI Robotics “Built in USA” Industry Partner Conference at its Los Angeles headquarters, unveiling progress in robot manufacturing, its education ecosystem, and channel partnerships. The company unveiled a three-phase roadmap for its EAI Robotics Acceleration Program, targeting the commencement of operations at its robot factory by the end of 2026 and planning to roll out its first next-generation EAI robotic platform in February 2027. FF introduced two new robotic products at the event: the full-size humanoid robot Next Futurist and the quadruped robot Next Aegis. The company plans to unveil additional robotics products on September 19 and launch version 1.0 of its EAI Education Ecosystem Industry Productivity Solution. FF stated it intends to introduce and manufacture three to five new or upgraded robotic products annually in the U.S. going forward. Education is viewed by FF as one of the key initial scenarios for scaling its robotics business. The company has already partnered with several school districts in the Los Angeles area on robotics education initiatives and summer programs, with potential educational collaborations spanning 11 projects across 10 U.S. states. FF has signed cooperation agreements with Lynwood Unified School District and El Segundo Unified School District and will next focus on transitioning its education ecosystem from pilot demonstrations to large-scale replication. FF also launched recruitment efforts for downstream distributors and ecosystem partners. According to its plan, the company will invest no less than $5 billion over the next decade in EAI Robotics, AI, advanced manufacturing, and industrial ecosystems. It aims to build a new revenue model through equipment sales, industry solutions, developer platforms, and data-related services. As of August 4, 2026, FF EAI Robotics had shipped a cumulative total of 394 units, and the company has raised its full-year 2026 shipment target from 1,500 to 2,000 units.
