Li Auto i9 All-Electric Flagship SUV to Launch Mid-September

At the Q2 2026 earnings call, Li Auto President Ma Donghui announced that the Li Auto i9 is scheduled for an official launch in mid-September. Positioned as a flagship all-electric six-seater SUV, the i9 measures 5,225 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,752 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,168 mm. It features a closed-off front fascia and the brand’s signature “Star Ring” lighting design, along with a roof-mounted LiDAR unit. The i9 will be built on an 800V 5C high-voltage platform, equipped with Li Auto’s next-generation self-developed electric drive system and supported by the company’s proprietary 5C ultra-fast charging network. It will also integrate Li Auto’s in-house developed Mach M100 autonomous driving chip and a new-generation high-performance Qualcomm cockpit chip. The i9 is designed to complement the Li Auto MEGA, jointly targeting the premium all-electric mobility segment for large families. Specific pricing and detailed specifications have not yet been disclosed.
