Great Wall Ora 5 GT and Sport Models Launch on August 28

Great Wall Motor announced that the Ora 5 GT and Ora 5 Sport models officially launched on August 28, 2024. The Ora 5 Sport is based on the standard version, featuring a two-tone body design, exclusive front and rear bumpers, and unique alloy wheels. Its interior largely mirrors the standard model but adds yellow accent stitching on the seats and door panels. It comes equipped with a large floating central touchscreen, supports wireless smartphone charging, and uses a column-mounted gear shifter. The vehicle offers three powertrain options: gasoline, hybrid, and all-electric. The gasoline variant is powered by a 1.5T engine producing a maximum output of 184 horsepower, while the all-electric version features an electric motor delivering up to 204 horsepower. The Ora 5 GT adds red accents to the front fascia, side skirts, and other areas, paired with sporty alloy wheels and red brake calipers, plus a large rear spoiler. Its cabin adopts a black theme with sport seats featuring pronounced lateral bolstering on the seatbacks and GT badges embroidered on the headrests. The GT is powered by an electric motor with a peak output of 150 kW and is available with either a 45.3 kWh or 58.3 kWh battery pack, offering respective ranges of 480 km and 580 km.
