Chrysler Recalls 844,000 Vehicles in U.S. Over Backup Camera Display Failure

According to an announcement by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on August 27, Chrysler is recalling approximately 844,000 vehicles in the United States. The recall stems from a defect in certain vehicles where the rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, posing an increased risk of collision. The affected models include the 2026 Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, and Jeep Compass.
