SAIC Motor will host five consecutive “SAIC Tech Series: Chassis Special” forward-looking technology exhibitions from September 20 to October 12, 2023. The events will be held respectively at SAIC MAXUS, Shangjie New Energy, SAIC Passenger Vehicle – IM Motors, Huayu & HuiZhong, and Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), covering business segments including commercial vehicles, premium intelligent EVs, Harmony Intelligent Driving, Tier 1 chassis systems, and joint R&D ventures. The first event, titled “Exploring Intelligent Mobility Together | SAIC MAXUS Commercial Vehicle Chassis Technology Exhibition,” took place on September 20 at the SAIC Commercial Vehicle Technical Center. It sought suppliers of chassis components tailored for demanding commercial vehicle operating conditions, including leaf springs/air suspensions, shock absorbers, e-drivetrains, axles, commercial vehicle brake calipers, EPB (Electronic Parking Brake), commercial EPS (Electric Power Steering), chassis domain controllers, as well as suppliers of chassis durability test rigs, axle fatigue test benches, and NVH testing equipment. The second event, “Electric Chassis, Comfortable Mobility | Shangjie New Energy Chassis Technology Exhibition,” was held on September 21 at SAIC Passenger Vehicle’s Jinqiao Base, focusing on multi-system co-development for intelligent electric vehicles and inviting suppliers in suspension, axle systems, intelligent chassis, and testing fields. The third event, “By-Wire Chassis, Intelligent Driving Experience | SAIC Passenger Vehicle – IM Motors Chassis Technology Exhibition,” took place on September 22 at SAIC’s Innovation R&D General Institute, targeting the premium intelligent EV segment and seeking suppliers specializing in suspension, axle systems, intelligent chassis, and related testing solutions. The fourth event, “Intelligent Control, Driving Innovation | Huayu & HuiZhong Chassis Technology Exhibition,” was held on October 11 at Huayu Technical Center, focusing on lightweighting and intelligentization projects for new energy vehicle chassis, and recruiting suppliers in suspension components, axle systems, chassis structural parts, process components, and testing equipment. The fifth event, “Mastering the Foundation, Building Intelligence Across Domains | PATAC Chassis Technology Exhibition,” occurred on October 12 at Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC), centering on chassis development and validation under the context of electrification transformation, and inviting suppliers in suspension, axle systems, intelligent chassis, and testing equipment. All five events adopted a hybrid format combining “technology exhibitions + closed-door discussions,” aiming to facilitate precise matchmaking and in-depth negotiations.
