On August 27, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued a notice launching a nationwide one-year special campaign to enhance production consistency and quality of road motor vehicle products. The inspection and supervision efforts will focus on four key areas: cybersecurity and safety assurance capabilities for intelligent connected vehicles, enterprises' design and development capabilities, manufacturing capacity, and product production consistency.
